We welcome your interest in learning about the art of Aikido. Simply put, Aikido is the study of the way of spiritual harmony. It is at once an extremely effective form of self-defense, and yet balanced with an equally profound spiritual path of peaceful reconciliation with humanity.

Our school welcomes you as a unique individual suitable for training irrespective of your background, skills, or physical ability. As Sensei Suenaka states, all students are encouraged to practice at a pace that indicates a sincere desire to learn and grow. The journey of studying the art of Aikido is challenging, life-long, and rewarding.
